Valerie Brook
I haven’t had an easy life, so I write short stories and novels from the depths of those experiences, those darker shadows of life. Yet my characters still find a powerful light to shine no matter the challenges they face.
I’ve been called “one of the best and most powerful new writers appearing on the scene” by Pulphouse Fiction Magazine.
When I’m not writing, I find peace in photography—the quest for the next moment or emotion to capture in light and shadow. I can often be found playing board games, and laughing aloud, and may also be known to be an avid cook. As well, I’ve so far survived Lyme disease, and am determined to keep surviving.
Thank you for your interest in my work, I’m so very grateful!
